The 2025 Plan of Organization Is a Threat to Republican Grassroots — Vote No

 

The final draft of the North Carolina Republican Party’s 2025 Plan of Organization, set for a vote at the state convention this June, poses a serious threat to grassroots Republicans—especially conservative youth leaders across North Carolina.

 

This proposal, pushed through by just a handful of insiders, would significantly reduce the influence of organizations like the Teenage, College, and Young Republicans. It consolidates power at the top, removes our representation from party leadership, and silences our voice within the GOP.

 

Under this plan, the Executive Committee would shrink dramatically, and grassroots participation would be replaced with centralized control. The original draft even removed key auxiliary organizations entirely—an alarming sign of where this is headed.

 

Republicans believe in distributed power, not top-down control. That’s why we at NCTARS are urging every delegate to vote NO on this dangerous rewrite. If you are a delegate, stand with us. If you know a delegate, make sure they understand what’s at stake.
